To avoid loosing a ship because of a missing part, you can download old parts from kas v0.4 from the curse mod page. I was somewhat unfortunate with the landing location, as the ground isn't flat Granted the new <to me> storage system and eva construction ability added at some point render kis / kas kinda obsolete, save for maybe those two pylons behind bill with built in joint sockets, or the pylon in front of him with the one attached by bill here.
