I'm about to build another ka24det and was wondering how much boost/power is the felpro paper type headgasket good for (apparently i heard 400) I finally got my kat project up and going and she's been running strong for a solid 4 months now I know people always bash on felpros and i was planning to run a multiple layer steel type cometic hg, but i also hear bad stuff about them
Hey guys, im just putting toghther my bottom end finally today and i plastigauged the main bearings, they are 0.001 at most
I went ahead and lubed the bearings with the arp lube that came for the studs and then followed the arp torque procedure from jgs to torque them all down I bought a sandwitch plate with taps for oil pressure guages and whatever you want to install. The operation of the swirl control valve extends the torque curve of the engine It does this by essentially providing two seperate intake velocities and torque curves that are switched, overlaying the curves as a single extended profile
