Since todays patch i'm unable to launch the game Verified integrity of game files multiple times, restarted pc Didnt to any changes to my pc software or hardware wise Fix that worked for me was manually deleting the data folder and verifying integrity of game files again via steam.
The helldivers in particular are almost entirely from this group

Unfortunately i cant blame helldivers itself for the bad update system, cuz at the end of the day the game relies on steam's content distribution system (steampipe) which is supposed to make updates more efficient The guide tries to fix one of the worst bottlenecks slow patching caused by steam writing temp files to an hdd instead of an ssd.
Right click helldivers 2 on steam library and click properties at the bottom of list go to controller on left hand side second from the bottom on the right side in controller options, change that to disable steam input i tried all these different settings, and it instantly crashes on startup if it's set to anything other than the disable option As soon as i make it disable steam input it. I've sat and watched helldivers update itself up to 50% within a few percentage points, then basically stall out Haven't been able to actually load the game in days because the update just refuses to finish.
Open the helldivers 2 game files through steam copy dxgi.dll and d3d11.dll to \helldivers 2\bin\ dxvk config file
