Brightspace is a bit more difficult to pick up and use, and is highly dependent on the instruction staff configuring it properly, but if both of those things are satisfied then brightspace is much more useful than blackboard ever could be. Timed no, once you start you have a hour regardless if you're on the page or not I have had my computer crash during a test and it counted down the 3 minutes it took me to get my quiz back up

Brightspace sucks i’ve taught on different platforms and by far canvas has been the most user friendly I haven’t used blackboard in a long time so i don’t know if it got better But i’ve recently had to work on brightspace for this new school i teach at and it is just so annoying There is little intuitive functionality and navigation.
