I have the choice of 2 bikes, one has ultegra di2 & one has sram rival etap axs, the sram one is a better frame, they are around the same price

Shimano only offer better brakes than sram and that is easily rectified by fitting some swissstop disc rs pads I much prefer no wiring, easy setup, removable battery and currently better gearing options (until 12 speed di2 from shimano appears) Also easy to upgrade to a power meter if you want to go down that route at a later stage The flattop chain looks cool and.

So i'm thinking of swapping out my cranks soon as i have short legs and think i need to go to a 165mm crank Given the opportunity, i'm thinking about whether i should swap the gearing out for something easier Even as someone that really likes the sram axs stuff, i would not pay $300 more for apex axs than grx 820 You'd be paying more for sram's lowest tier electronic groupset than shimano's highest tier gravel groupset.
